Hi I’m Alaina Morrison.
I’m a born and raised kiwi. I currently live in Christchurch in the beautiful south island of New Zealand where there is surf, mountains for snowboarding, hills for biking, cliffs for climbing and plenty of eateries to fill my belly.
I’m a registered Holistic Nutritionist and Personal trainer and I absolutely love my jobs.
I’m blessed to be married to a man who shares all my same hobbies. Really it’s ridiculous how much we do together… and we absolutely love it.
I’m passionate about people understanding their own bodies, about women having healthy menstrual cycles, about op shopping, about caring for our precious world, about other cultures, about sunshine and summer time, about pickles, about Lord of the Rings and many other geeky books, about music.
I love God.
My name is Shannon Le Roux,
I am a South African Citizen born in Belgium, grew up in England and now resident of New Zealand. I have the soul of a gypsy and the heart of a hoarder. I am slightly quirky love the colour yellow, oh and I also married my best friend at 24 – he is kinda great.
A recruitment consultant by trade with a background in sales and marketing; I work for myself, am in love with the freedom this affords me and the amazing clients that I meet along the way. My career took a more professional route than I intended and now in my thirties I am also a student of Holistic Nutrition.
Although I don’t let these things define me – I have PCOS, conquered anxiety, and battled intense grief. I have body insecurities I punch in the face daily, have a love hate relationship with the scale and will sometimes binge eat a slab of dark chocolate whilst chasing it with mugfuls of coffee.
I do, however, define myself as a series absorber, book devourer, tea connoisseur with grammar nazi tendencies. I have an ongoing love affair with mountains, cuddle all the cats, would live on the beach if I could, think I’m more flexible than what I am, pick up heavy weights and adore amazing food.
